It’s Spring Break; let’s go fishing! Dad Mac and sons Daniel and Jackson chased steelhead with me today. The guys fished hard and well, but the steelhead just didn’t want to play today for us. We lost a couple of fish that may have been chrome, but with walleyes increasingly prevalent, who knows when they’re off shortly after the take. A beautiful day it was, though, and with what I was told was a yummy meal and walleyes coming to the net, following a game night and overnight with Dad at the Muskegon River Lodge, the guys’ get-a-away surely will prove a memory long remembered.
