I really think the calendar is in full rewind mode, this weather is ridiculous! At one point today I actually exceeded my clothing allotment on any given January day. Okay, I will just try to move on, despite the wind chill and overall crappy weather we’ve been enduring–Bill , long-time guest and friend, and his college buddy Dave too endured the cold and fished hard for some steelhead today. Finding fish was no real issue, however their temperament was anything but willing. Many casts and numerous fly changes were necessary to coax the steelhead into the game. Compile the weak bite with a bunch of head shakes, short runs, and gone, it made for a challenging day. Pictured are a couple of the willing players from today.
