It sure is great to see the Muskegon River with a good flow of water for a change! It would be wonderful if this flow could last through the winter but given our year’s track record I won’t hold my breath. Despite the increase in water-flow and a slight rise in water temperature the swing bite remains a little soft. Joining me today where Barney and Terry from the Kalamazoo chapter of Trout Unlimited. Though Barney is an old hat with the two-handed fly rod this would be Terry’s first full-day with the big rod. Holding true to the pattern of late, the steelhead once again made us earn it today, but in the end they graced us with some photo opts. Pictured is Terry with his first steelhead on the two-hander.
