Really hard to believe that December has brought the best swing of the year, but really we have waited a long time to get some water in our river this fall. Now,understand, I am not saying run out and get swinging….the river is losing temperature fast and the swing is sure to go away on the short term , but really…conditions are favorable. Dan and Derrik joined me today; both are long time river fisherman; and Dan, your sure to recognize as a long time RQ customer, were new to the swing prior to today. Fifteen minutes into the day Dan’s success was posed and his second was soon to follow. Derrick conversely, spent the day learning the fundamentals, and at the end of the day put it all together and posed for the camera. A big thanks goes out to Kevin Feenstra and a kick a@% fly pattern that gets it done! Picture above is Dan and below is Derrik.
