Happy Thanksgiving!

The last two days on the Muskegon have been challenging in my boat. With slowly rising water conditions you would think chrome would be easy, this however has been far from the truth. Success has come through “will” of the customers to keep casting and fishing as though they had been catching fish all day as I search through countless patterns to find just the right one. Just when it would seem as though you have tried them all-one of you “go to” flies pops a fish. Basically what I am saying is fish very diligently-fish every pocket, every seam, and just when you think you have fished it thoroughly make another cast.  John Rudolph and his friend Wayne joined me and found success on the Mo’ with some very long difts with small egg flies suspended off the bottom.

Tight lines,
