Unexpected Challenges?

Recent heavy rains brought huge water to the Muskegon over the weekend. While this extra water provided an unexpected problem over the weekend, river flows were quick to recover late in the day yesterday. Pictured lower is a shot of my boat prior to me moving it from a permanent lawn ornament position.

Gary Davisson and Mike Quinlan of Missouri joined me today and again tomorrow to chase chrome. Fishing today was challenging with still dirty water conditions. Both Gary and Mike greeted the challenge today eagerl y, and got the job done. Pictured above is Mike with one from today. Water flows are in check and conditions should be the best we have seen in years as the water begins to clear. Clown eggs, buggers, and “Big” spey patterns are getting it done!
