Today Capt. Dave and I had the pleasure of hosting the Dan Bowen group. River levels and clarity were back to normal today after the strange 4000cfs jump in flow that took place yesterday. The river is currently flowing around 2200cfs and has the best “steelhead color” we have seen in years! Chrome are actively taking clown eggs and leeches both on the swing and presented in Great lakes style C&D nymphing. The fish that want to play are taking quickly so covering lots of water has been key to locating easy fish.
