Best Foot Forward

Capt. Don and I hosted the Sidor annual “boys” trip today; joining us was Bill, son-in-laws Joe, Jeff, and Jay also along was Joe’s son Josh. Fishing today had chrome written all over it after the big rains for the past 36 hours. Despite our best efforts we were only rewarded with some very nice river trout before the river doubled in size. River levels have been low, running around 1300csf and climbed to 1900 yesterday and seem to have peaked around 3300cfs this afternoon. Above is Josh with a nice jack Chinook. Lower is Joe and Josh together with a seasoned Chinook; Jeff holds one of our great resident trout of the Mo’.

Steelhead are the name of the game going forward; I (we) certainly can’t wait!!
