Group Fun

Dan Bowen and guests O.D., Pete, and Mike joined Capt. Fred and I for a successful day of salmon fishing on the MO’. New and old salmon can be found throughout the Muskegon River’s prime spawning sections in the top 12-15miles of river. Chrome can be found in the dark water and with some measurable rain will move to the primary focus in the coming weeks. Small flies are key as the water clarity is near vodka clear. Pictured is Dan and O.D. with a couple from today.

A big thanks goes out to the McKay group; you guy were a pleasure to have on the river. I would also like to thank guides Jason Nurmi, Tim Oliphant, and Steve Jandesak; eight boats a day on the water is a lot to keep organized and they went out of their way to ensure a successful trip for our many groups this week. Pictured below is a shot of George of Dever, Co with his very first fly rod salmon.
