Dan Holtrop and Bob Nykamp join me today for a much improved day of fly fishing on the Muskegon. Things just fell together nicely today- some new fish and well presented flies. Both Bob and Dan are regular customers and have frequent our boats many times- point and shoot was the name of the game. We spent the entire day rolling indy’s off the switch rods to sighted salmon. Rainbow and browns regularly gobbled our drifts into dark water- egg patterns were key….no steelhead today. Rain is forecasted tonight through Wednesday morning which will continue to improve fishing.
