Indian summer has made its way into Michigan and looks to be here for the foreseeable future. Salmon fishing is solid with many fish in the deep troughs and shallow spawning areas. The Darby crew joined Dave and I and kept us smiling from start to finish.
The Mo’ has started is slide back towards “low” and will certainly start to challenge boats by weeks end. Please remember to be respectful to all the rivers users, whether they are in a boat or wading. Slow down for everyone unless they first wave you through–it’s the safe, sensible, and smart thing to do!
