It was a beautiful day to be on the river for the month of October, and the pressure was light for a Friday. Jan comes from Pennsylvania every year to fish salmon, as all he gets is steelhead back home. He’s an avid fisherman and prefers to get the fish to the boat to land them, which is not a easy thing to do. It takes a great deal of skill and a lot of patience. That’s Jan on the left. The photo on the right shows salmon, and the dark shadows are fish. There are forty or more from the boat to the bank.
