Rio and Don of Avalon joined me on the Manistee for a day full “highs” and “lows”. The highs were many fish on the line but the lows were many fish lost to the copious quantities of crap that the Manistee River harbors. While the numbers of new fish is surely on the increase, the angler pressure is border-line ridiculous. While Rio is a seasoned RQ client, Don was on his maiden voyage–glad we could get him in front of the camera with a well earned fish that he was finally able to keep out of the wood–Nice!
