Harry Boesch and his good friend and fellow “Big Band” musician Rick Reid joined me today on the Manistee. Summer like fishing conditions were with us again today as were the fisherman. Lots of boats were on the water today looking for salmon in the lower river; I actually made it from Matson’s to Manistee Lake by lunch with all the hop-scotching around that took place today. Fewer new fish headed East today as Big Blue has warmed up near shore with the on-shore breeze. NE winds are forecasted tonight and tomorrow so the parade should fire-up again soon.
