Summer sun & Isonychia

Wet flies and small streamers are hands-down leading the count on boated fish right now on the Mo’. Iso nymphs are very active and continue to produce, however adult activity has been hit or miss. Dry fly fishing remains a game of chess as the trout continue to be extremely selective. Water temperatures have warmed into the middle/upper sixties and the smallmouth bite has increased dramatically!

Joining Capt Don and I were some long-time guests and friends which made for a particularly enjoyable evening on the water. Pictured are a sampling of our successes yesterday.
