High tea-staind water seems to be the norm on the Mo’ lately. Despite these higher flows, streamer fishing has been outstanding. Much to my chargrin–big streamers are the ticket! The past few streamer seasons have featured low-clear water and the trout have been quite shy to some of our larger offerings, but this year–go big and go bigger!! Flies of choice have been Voo-doo Squatch, Meal tickets, Ditch pigs, and Articulated Fat-heads. Whip it, Strip it, and Hold on!! Pictured is Dr. Hicswa with his best brown trout to date.
