Right on par

Fishing on the Mo’ currently is right on par with years past logs. Hatches are happening but day-to-day differences are very evident. Last night was likely one of the largest sulpher spinner falls I have ever witnesses. While this sounds epic, the area produced only one rising trout. While this may frustrate some, I, on the other-hand, smile at my river. The Muskegon currently is so jam-packed with fry, sucker spawn, crawfish, and other food sources, the river trout just aren’t needing to look up for food.

Andy and JD of Chicago Fly Fishing Outfitters joined me last night and again this evening for some really great fishing and some amazing scenes that only a trout fisherman can appreciate! Pictured are the guys with a couple from yesterday.
