Sunny, bright, and warm would sum up the conditions today. Tom, Scott, and Adam joined me for a day of nymphing. With all the big fish opportunities of late the guys were pretty fired up. Today certainly tested both the guys will and the patience of me as karma set out to make things difficult. Big rainbows the last two days have been happy campers under the warm sunny summer skies and today wouldn’t be any different. However, while bent rods weren’t hard to come by–struggles to the net would test our determination. After burning through a lot of flies and a bunch of 5x, Scott posed his best rainbow to date.
