Bob and Gary of the Chicago area joined me today for a trip two years in the making. While this trip was to take place last year I believe the weather today more than made up for the wait. Sunny skies and temps near 70 degrees provided a back drop that was more than adequate for a wonderful day on the water. Steelhead fishing continues to be good but their are a few less fish every day now. Cinnamon caddis have been popping with regularity the last couple days but the trout are still very much on the egg take. Streamer fishing for both trout and steelhead is good with the moderate flows. Small green caddis provided nearly all the action today. If you are looking to book a choice date for dry fly or streamer fishing for trout please give us a call or drop us and email. Pictured is Bob and Gary with a sampling from today.
