Cliff Fox joined me today for a very productive day of indicator fishing on the Muskegon. The transition to the new Sage Z-Axis 8wt switch rod has been a very good move not only in C&D but it is truely a gem with a floating line as designed! Small caddis and stone flies produced nearly all of our fish today. We spent about two hours swinging uglies for new and leaving chrome with only a big smallie to show. The indy rig was “money” all day; Cliff was in point and shoot mode with some very nice steelies to to show. Look for traffic to disappear in the coming days!
