So much for our inch of rain; the watershed did receive some much needed rain but unfortunately it wasn’t quite the amount we hoped. Joining me for the past couple day was Josh and Steve Collins of Indianapolis. This would be their first steelhead fly fishing experience. As beginners luck goes, their trip coincided with the first clouds and precip we have seen in weeks. This luck of clouds provided us an opportunity to fish to some reasonable happy fish both yesterday and today. With any luck this small boost in flow will re-energize our river! Great job guys; you earned it in the wind today!
