Steelhead weather!! Well it is finally fishing weather; cloudy and rain showers. I gladly fish in the sun but it seems the fish just like it dark; too bad for that! Anyway we had the annual Heneveld Group spring outing today; fishing was good with everyone putting some chrome in the boat. Stone flies continued to hatch today with many trout feeding on the surface. The adult stones those are diminishing in size though, smaller size 14 dries would be my recommendation if trout are the order of the day. Steelhead fishing should be strong for a few more weeks; though I would recommend a trout rod or two on the sunnier days.

Tight lines,

Steve
