Boy the last couple days have been tough! Low ultra clear water has created some very temperamental fish. Harry Boesch and Eric Blalock joined me yesterday and Tim Hicswa and Al Aevey joined me today. Yesterday brought a number of fish from the dark water including some very respectable walleye but the steelhead were very net shy; today we went with finesse approach with ultra long leaders and SMAll nymphs. This proved most advantageous in the clear water and allowed for several very respectable steelhead to be persuaded from the depths. We need rain badly; the fish are their and have not left; fish hard and you will be rewarded! Pictured is Tim and Al with a couple well earned fish from today.
