A cold, rude day was in store for us on the river as Capt. Tom and myself hosted the Dan Challa group. Big water is the story of the day, while I try to ignore the snow flakes! The water jumped about a foot mid-day today, and with it is sure to bring more chrome. Visibility isn’t terrible but coupled with the breeze makes for challenging sightings. Green caddis, clown eggs, nukes, and stones rounded out the top producing patterns today. Pictured is Dan Challa top, and Dan Boomstra lower, braving the wind and yuck.
