Aint no fool’in

Sunny and 82 degrees today, and that’s no April Fool’n! Wow, did we skip right to the middle of July; pretty unbelievable weather pattern we are in! One week ago I didn’t stop removing ice from the guides of my customers rods until 1:30 pm.

Bob Radzis, his brother Dick, and friends Jim and Mike joined Capt. Don and today, and again tomorrow. Fishing was a little different today aside from the weather. The bite was softer than it has been in the dark water, but fish remain constant in the pools. Surprisingly in the sections I have been fishing, gravel sighting have remain light.

Stringer fodder is unfortunately a big issue in the upper sections of the river. Guy’s, just because you can keep three doesn’t mean you should, practice catch and release, you’ll feel better and we’ll have more fish in three years!

Pictured are a few from today.
