Fat Line Chrome

Wow, one day to the next the bite seems to different. Today the bite was soft, finding waters that hadn’t been probed was key to our success today. Fat lines and floats out-produced the go to C&D. Flies have been the same for the last few days: eggs, stones, and cross-dressers. As the waves of new fish pause and hang for a while and ultimately become educated, look for overlooked lies that are close to the schools but haven’t been pounded. Pictured is Jon from Chicago with fat line chromer from this afternoon and his out-sized walleye from this morning.
