I’m glad to see the month of March close today since it has been a very long cold month on the water. The rain-maker must of read my last report since we had well over an inch of rain today. This rain will certainly kick the spring run into high gear. Steve, Dave and Jessie (Jessie was featured on our Christmas card last year with a 17.5 lb colored male) joined me today for a soggy but productive day on the water. Dave took the ‘lime light” with his first steelhead ever; and  a very nice one indeed! This was Steve’s year to take pictures. Small caddis were the ticket today until the water became dirty. Bright egg patterns and large flashy stone flies took over. Pictured is Dave and Jessie with a couple from today.

Tight lines,

Steve
