The Hamilin’s hit it Big

The Hamlin group is with Capt. Dave and I for a couple days and things got started for them in grand style. While the waters levels continue to run big and off color, steelhead and trout are plentiful. Water temperatures are around 50 degrees and providing a nice shot off adrenalin when steelhead are hooked. Long runs and leaps are pretty much the norm right now. Small nymphs were the ticket today. Pictured above, is Bill from Missouri with one of the best Muskegon River browns I have seen in some time. Pictured lower, is Tom and Mike with a couple from our day.
