River levels have dropped back to a perfect 2800 cfs and currently carrying the perfect stain. Water temps however have dropped off the charts with over-night temperatures nudging the single digits. What does all this mean? Basically, this spring is shaping up just like the good ol’ days of years ago–a slow progression of good fishing for the duration of the run peaking in late April with great fishing most of May!!! Check your crystal ball, but that’s my two cents–but you know I’m the proverbial optimist. No one has missed anything yet like in the last few years.
