I had the pleasure of fishing with Lewis and Lamont today for their first of three days with us. Despite the continued effort required for success, these guys were all business–with a good amount of laughs mixed in. Traveling the world in search of success with anything that swims, these guys understood how to earn it. Well placed repeated-drifts followed by good fortune and faith proved to be all that these guys needed. Pictured is Lewis with a great buck steelhead from today.
Warmer weather is forecasted over the next several days–water temperatures held consistently today at 34.5 degrees, up a full degree. While this doesnt make you want to jump in for a swim, trout and steelhead are taking notice. Things should finally get easier soon!
