Davis

Captains Dave, Don, and I hosted the Halanski group today. Rising waters had the Mo’ in grand fashion today for our start. Slightly above normal flows with a good stain had me thinking big thoughts as we started in for the day. Indy’s and fat lines with clown eggs and stones looked to be perfect. However, by mid-morning the waters colored significantly and seemed to rise sharply, cooling our plans for a big day.  Oddly, only a short time later the river flow came back into check leaving only the colored water to defeat.  Stone flies, clown eggs, par patterns , and buggers are getting the job done; go slow, it might take a few casts for them to find your fly in the dirty waters. Pictured is Craig Davis with nice buck amidst the abundant sunshine. Look for Don’s pics soon.
