Wow, was it ever chilly this morning. A whole whopping 4 degrees at 9am. I was actually a little worried not knowing the my guests previously to this AM. After greeting Perry and his son Dirk as they finished breakfast at the lodge I soon was comforted with their eagerness to hit the river know matter the chill. Not surprisingly the morning was a little slow, however the afternoon was blessed with some exceptional fish hitting the net including one of the largest lake run browns I’ve seen in quite some time. Moral, you can’t catch’em if you’re too big of a Sally to leave lodge. Dress warm and get after it like Perry and Dirk did–awesome job guys!
